These terms govern your use of VerbalBuilder (“the service”). By using the service, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the service.
What VerbalBuilder is
VerbalBuilder is a free, independent study tool for the GRE, SAT, and ACT verbal sections. It offers practice questions, diagnostics, vocabulary review, study plans, an audio vocabulary podcast, and AI-generated essay feedback. Practice questions are original and AI-generated, and any scores or feedback are estimates for study purposes only — they are not official scores and do not guarantee performance on any real exam.
Not affiliated with the test makers
VerbalBuilder is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by ETS, the College Board, or ACT, Inc. GRE® is a registered trademark of ETS; SAT® is a registered trademark of the College Board; ACT® is a registered trademark of ACT, Inc. These trademarks are used only to describe the exams the service helps you prepare for.
Your account
You sign in with Google. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your Google account secure. Please keep your information accurate.
Acceptable use
- Don’t misuse the service, disrupt it, or attempt to overload or gain unauthorized access.
- Don’t scrape, bulk-download, or access the service through automated means.
- Don’t reverse-engineer, resell, or redistribute the content or service.
- Don’t use the service for any unlawful purpose or to submit content you have no right to submit.
AI-generated feedback
Essay grades, feedback, and practice content are produced by AI and may contain errors or inaccuracies. They are provided to help you study and are not a professional evaluation or a prediction of your actual exam results. Use your own judgment.
Availability and changes
The service is provided free of charge, “as is” and “as available.” We may add, change, or discontinue features, and we may limit usage to keep the service running reliably for everyone.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that harm the service or other users.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the service means you accept the updated terms.
